Less is More

One more night of work until VEGAS!!!

Lesson learned: put post op patients on bed alarm, no matter how alert and oriented they are.

Sorry for the late reply. THANK YOU!!!! He is doing MUCH better now. He is back to normal again and I am very grateful :)

Please pray for one of my dogs for the next couple days. My poor little guy was attacked viciously by a Pitbull mix. His jejunum is perforated through an abdominal wall. He also had many puncture wounds through his skin. My shirt was just soaked with his blood. He is being hospitalized right now. They said they are taking him to surgery tomorrow. It was heartbreaking to see him suffering, laying in the kennel, shaking, in a tremendous amount of pain, looking so helpless. I am scared, really scared of losing him. He is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. I am praying that God will watch over him and heal him through the process as pain-free as possible.

I MISS YOU BOOMER.

God, the one who soften my heart. Brought some food to one of my patients today.

Surviving my first shift on my own. Very tired but I am proud of myself. Thank you Jesus! Back for one more shift tonight. Praying it will be another a great night.

Had such a good day at work today.

Everything went so smoothly. I was able to care for all my patients, finished my charting, got all things done for the next shift, had a “decent” lunch break, got off work on time. I love today. I wish every work day is like this.

Going back to work tonight. Three more shifts until I am on my own!!!
